Berlin: The City of Dance

Growing up and training as a dancer in the US, I always heard about the European dance scene. I have watched countless hours of videos from European dance companies. Berlin is a major city that hosts many artists as well as dancers. Three major studios have open dance classes going on all day. I was able to take classes where I was being asked to do things I had never seen. The dancers moved in ways I did not know was possible. The few days that I did have in Berlin were magical. The arts are supported here in Berlin, and people go to art shows all the time which is special. The people of Berlin venerate the arts. Although the weather was gloomy when I was there, the artists shined bright.
